Mixing It Up

“As a Pen Artist, I am drawn to that dark, smooth line.  I find that although I love the soft touch of watercolour on paper, sometimes I yearn for that crisp line.  It drives me to mix the two elements in different ways in my work.  It seems that this mixture has sent me out into new horizons, as I have moved into the world of abstracts.  I have found that I enjoy mixing my realistic wildlife into abstract, almost fantasy like worlds.  It reminds me that just like our world is changing, so is theirs.”
